In a tight game between the Redwood Rhinos and the Fort Knox Centennial, pitcher Rodrigo Romano was terrific on the mound. The Redwood right-hander helped his team to the 2-1 win. Redwood, with the win, sits at 12-56.

Redwood won the game in the bottom of the ninth inning. With no outs and Ramón Flores on the mound for Fort Knox, designated hitter David Grassley hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Rhinos fans to their feet.

"This place sure got loud," said Dave Parrish, the Redwood manager.
