Crowley had no answer for Fort Knox Centennial starter Juan Corona, who flummoxed Cajuns hitters as the Centennial cruised to victory, 9-1. The 5th-place Cajuns have lost 6 consecutive games.

Natalino Desidrio tagged a home run off John Pierce in the bottom of the sixth. His 2-run blast put the Centennial on top, 2-1. In all, Desidrio had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 3.

"We're in a funk and we need to shake ourselves out of it," said Crowley manager Neal Davis.
