The Fort Knox Centennial got a stellar effort from pitcher Tai sun Rang, helping Fort Knox score a win over the visiting Plattsburgh Puffer Fish, 2-1. The first-place Centennial have a record of 49-14.
In the bottom of the ninth, with two out and the game tied, 1-1, designated hitter Jorge Gómez won it for Fort Knox. With a runner on 2nd, Gómez hit a 1-1 fastball from Shing Deng for a run-scoring single, giving his team the 2-1 win.
"The house was rockin'," said Gómez.
