González Delivers Walk-Off Win for Puffer Fish
The Hicksville Hounds got a superb performance from pitcher John Terry. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Plattsburgh. The Puffer Fish won the game, 7-6. Terry threw 6.2 innings of 5-hit ball. Curt Kerr picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-1. José Cruz was tagged with the loss. With the win over Hicksville, the Puffer Fish improved to 24-35.

In the bottom of the 11th, Ángel González had a chance to deal the knockout blow. And he did, punching a run-scoring sacrifice fly to right-center off Hicksville pitcher José Cruz.

"Our team showed some spunk," said González.
