Otters Topple Shockers with Late Rally
|
The Surprise Shockers inaugurated their 2051 season with a tough 2-1 loss to the Tulsa Otters at Shockers Field. Starting Pitcher Albert Wallace had perhaps the best performance for Tulsa.
The outcome might have been different for Tulsa, had it not been for Thomas Mosley, the 19-year old center fielder . Mosley stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put Tulsa up, 2-1. For the game, he was 2 for 4, including 1 double and 1 single.
"Feels good to get the job done," Wallace said after the game.
