Everything was working for Ben Keddy today at Ballpark of Elkhorn City. He had the perfect delivery. The ball was moving. The fastball was working.

In an unforgettable performance, the 20-year-old Keddy fanned 15 Rhinos and sparked the Athletic Club KC U-21 to a 10-2 victory over Redwood. He left Rhinos hitters mumbling and muttering at the plate. And when he needed a strikeout, he got it.

"I don't know if there are many times that I've seen him throw better," said Athletic Club KC manager Justin Moore. "His location and command were really something."

In addition to collecting 15 strikeouts over 7.1 innings, Keddy allowed 5 hits and no walks in a superlative outing.

"I thought I'd make it easy on the guys today," Keddy said with a smile.

So far this year Keddy has 6 wins and 2 losses and a 2.55 ERA.
