The Crowley Cajuns and Plattsburgh Puffer Fish were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

Plattsburgh used a superb performance from starting pitcher Mario Hernández to down the Crowley Cajuns, 3-0. Curt Kerr locked down his 13th save.

Hernández, who was born in Las Guaranas, Dominican Republic, threw 101 pitches over 7.1 innings, while allowing no runs.

"Winning never gets dull," said Hernández.
