The Hicksville Hounds got a stellar effort from pitcher Dave Sutton, helping Hicksville score a win over the visiting Redwood Rhinos, 3-1. The losing streak for Redwood has now reached 21 games.

The Hounds got a big at-bat from third baseman Ryuichi Sugano. For the game, Sugano went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Hicksville a 2-0 lead.

"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," Sutton said.
