Ramón Rocha knocked in 4 runs to help Hicksville beat Beaumont, 4-2. Rocha produced 1 single, 1 double, and 1 home run. Hicksville reliever Ronald Gardner picked up the win, upping his record to 4-1. Rusty Collins absorbed the loss. The Hounds go to 20-27, putting them 8th in the Premier Low A.

Rocha had a game-changing double in the top of the ninth. On a first pitch fastball from Rusty Collins, he banged a 2-run double to center, giving the Hounds a 4-2 lead. It was the 6th double of the year for Rocha.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Rocha told a Hicksville News reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."
