Puffer Fish Stick Hounds with 7-1 Loss
The Plattsburgh Puffer Fish defeated the Hicksville Hounds, 7-1, in USPL Low A action at Plattsburgh Park. Plattsburgh pitcher Brian Moore had a standout performance. Don House earned the save, his 2nd. Plattsburgh is in 7th place in the Premier Low A with a record of 21-24.

The Puffer Fish got an important contribution from right fielder Bill Reid, who in the bottom of the third punched a first pitch changeup into right for a 2-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Puffer Fish ahead, 2-0.

"Brian just went about his business, throwing strikes," said Plattsburgh manager Wallace James.
