Fort Knox starter Lloyd Best had a strong outing against the Shady Side Zoomies at Terriers Ballpark. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 5-2 win. Best got the win, improving to 6-1. He allowed 3 hits and walked 1 over 5.1 innings. Best allowed 2 runs. Fort Knox leads the Premier Low A by 4 games.
Milo Hamilton made an early impact for Fort Knox when he stroked his 5th triple of the season. The 2-run triple, which came with no one out in the top of the third, put the Centennial on top, 2-1.
