The Plattsburgh Puffer Fish stopped the Shady Side Zoomies, 6-3, at Terriers Ballpark. The Puffer Fish got a big game from Ángel González, who went 2 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2. Elijah Cox got the win, improving to 4-0. He held the Zoomies to 3 runs on 5 hits over 6.2 innings, while striking out 6 and walking 2. Plattsburgh is in 6th place in the Premier Low A with a record of 14-12.
Mutsuhito Kiyomizu had a key at-bat with one out in the top of the third for Plattsburgh. With the bases loaded and the Puffer Fish leading 2-0, he hit a 2-run single.
