Blaze Win Thriller, 6-5
Led by Francisco Pérez, the South Beach Blaze defeated the Myrtle Beach Seahawks, 6-5. Pérez was 3-5 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 times for the Blaze. South Beach currently is in second place in the Premier A at 55-33.

The Blaze procured the win, in large part because of third baseman Denny Forbes. In the bottom of the 12th, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.

Forbes said this kind of win gives the team "a buzz."
