Hounds Walk It Off for 6th Win of Season
|
Hicksville starter Dave Sutton had a strong outing against the Plattsburgh Puffer Fish at Hound Pound. The left-hander was a big part of his team's 6-3 win. The Hounds have stumbled out of the gate, getting only their 6th win in 19 games.
Hicksville won the game in the bottom of the 14th inning. With one out and Don House on the mound for Plattsburgh, third baseman Robin Clayton hit a dramatic 3-run home run, bringing Hounds fans to their feet.
"It's great when the crowd gets into it," Clayton said.
