The Crowley Cajuns stopped the Hicksville Hounds, 6-4, at Titans Ballpark. The Cajuns got a big game from Neil Bendall, who went 2 for 2 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Junior Clark earned the save for Crowley, his 6th. The hot start continues for the defending champion Cajuns. This was their 13th win in 17 games.

Bendall had a timely hit for Crowley in the bottom of the sixth. With Hicksville trailing 4-1, he turned a 1-1 curveball into a grand slam home run. It was his 1st home run of the season, making it 5-4, Crowley.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Bendall.
