6-1 Win Gets Hudsonville to 10-6
|
Hudsonville center fielder Panagiotis Solomonidis played a vital role in his team's 6-1 triumph over Shady Side. He slugged 2 home runs for Hudsonville. Hudsonville reliever Vincente Pagán got the win, raising his record to 3-0. Bill Bray was tagged with the loss. The loss drops the Zoomies to 8-8.
Qing-lai Li dealt the Zoomies a blow in the bottom of the second. Batting with runners on 2nd and 3rd and Hudsonville leading 3-0, Li, who is tied for 8th in the PA- in RBI with 13, hit a first pitch fastball for a 2-run single.
"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Solomonidis said.
