Plattsburgh had no answer for Fort Knox Centennial hurler Lloyd Best, who overwhelmed Puffer Fish hitters as the Centennial coasted to victory, 6-0. The win puts Fort Knox at 13-1.

Francisco Pérez had a big 2-run home run for the Centennial in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Fort Knox leading 1-0 and a runner on 2nd, he got a splitter from Frank Wilson and swatted a home run to right. It was his 9th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Centennial ahead, 3-0.

"We're obviously playing with a lot of confidence," said Fort Knox manager Justin Saginov.
