With third baseman Daniel Abercromby leading the charge, the Monroeville Yinzers defeated the Cut Off Crawdads, 8-4, at Dragoons War Memorial Stadium. Abercromby, who is tied for 5th in the PA in hits with 78, was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Monroeville reliever Luis García picked up the win, upping his record to 2-3. Edward O'Neil took the loss. The 5th-place Yinzers have won 7 in a row.

Monroeville took a 6-4 lead on Ignacio Villanueva's 4th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which Villanueva hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Cut Off pitcher Edward O'Neil shaking his head.

"There's never a lack of effort in our clubhouse. We're willing to do the little things to get the win," Villanueva told the Monroeville Today.
