Crossbeaus Beat Rhinos, 4-1
|
Beaumont starter Conor Mabty had a strong outing against the Redwood Rhinos at The Zoo. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-1 win. The win takes Beaumont to 4-4.
Beaumont third baseman Robert Lancaster contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the third. With two down, he hit a curveball into center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 9th hit of the season and put the Crossbeaus ahead, 2-0.
"Been a rough stretch for us," said Redwood manager Dave Parrish.
