Arryns Top Seahawks to Even Record
|
The Lake Erie Arryns topped the Myrtle Beach Seahawks, 9-3, in USPL Single A action at Seahwaks Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Lake Erie pitcher Fernando Arroyo. Their 34-34 record puts the Arryns 6th in the Premier A.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Dan Bray? The Lake Erie second baseman had a 2-run double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Arryns on top, 4-2. For the game, Bray had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said Arroyo.
