The Fort Knox Centennial trumped the Hicksville Hounds, 4-2, at Hound Pound. Fort Knox third baseman Francisco Pérez was terrific. He went 2-4 with 2 doubles, while adding 3 RBI. Yeong-suk Yi picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-0. Roberto Hernández was tagged with the loss. Fort Knox, with the win, is 4-1.
Early in the game, Pérez had a 2-run double for Fort Knox. It was his 2nd double of the season and put the Centennial on top, 2-0.
"We'll keep playing hard and let the chips fall where they may," said Fort Knox manager Justin Saginov.
