The Eugene Vandals extended their losing streak with a loss to the Myrtle Beach Seahawks.

The Myrtle Beach Seahawks thumped the Eugene Vandals, 10-0, at The Riot Zone. Daniel Major was a big reason his team got the win. Major hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Jorge Salas, who went 5 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with no runs on 4 hits, while walking 0 and striking out 5. His record now stands at 5-2. Vicente Valentín recorded his 2nd save for Myrtle Beach.

Major had a key at-bat for Myrtle Beach early in the game. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 6th home run of the season and gave Myrtle Beach an early 2-0 lead.
