Blaze Take Down Hermit Crabs, 9-8

The South Beach Blaze finished things off in style.
The South Beach Blaze trumped the Huntington Hermit Crabs, 9-8, at The Ballpark on the Beach. South Beach first baseman Jean Kools was terrific. He was 2-5 with a home run, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. South Beach pitcher Yeong-suk Yi got the win, upping his record to 5-1. Mario Noceda got the loss.
The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the ninth, with South Beach trailing 8-6, Kools hit a fastball from Mario Noceda for a 3-run home run, giving the Blaze the walk-off win.
"We'll put that win in the can," said Kools, "and go after the next one."
The Blaze sit in third place in the Premier A with a record of 36-22.
