Laredo Gets 3-0 Road Win
|
In a tight affair between the Laredo Hawks and the Lake Erie Arryns, pitcher Keanu Kolora was in the zone. The Laredo right-hander helped his team win the game, 3-0. Éric Lemaire earned the save, his 5th, for the Hawks. With the victory, the Hawks upped their record to 17-15.
Laredo used a well-timed hit by Darren Overton to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Hawks ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
"We'll enjoy this win," said Overton. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
