Yucca Valley left-hander Eddie Walden pitched his team to victory over the Kennesaw Jets at Ballpark of Yucca Valley. The final score was 2-1. Joe Anthony collected his 24th save.

Joe Madden broke a 1-1 tie in the bottom of the sixth with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It put the Yellows in front, 2-1. For the game, Madden drove in one run.

"We scored one run," said Kennesaw manager Mike Preston. "You're not gonna get a lot of Ws scoring just one run."
