Jets Take Nail-Biter Over Reapers
The Kennesaw Jets downed the Grim Reapers, 6-5, at Jets Stadium. Fred McElroy led the way, going 2-for-4 for Kennesaw. The win puts the Jets at 27-39, while the Reapers drop to 24-42.

The Jets procured the win, in large part because of designated hitter Alfredo Ruíz. In the bottom of the tenth, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.

"The game is never over 'til it's over," said a jubilant Mike Preston, the Kennesaw skipper.
