Jets Prevail, 2-0, Over Columbia
|
Kennesaw Jets starter Feitze Overdevest hurled his team past the Columbia River Rats, 2-0. Ryan Burton locked down his 2nd save. The losing streak for Columbia has now reached 4 games.
In the bottom of the fourth, Kennesaw designated hitter Tae-seon P'yon had a productive at-bat. With runners on 1st and 2nd and one out, P'yon stroked a run-scoring single to center. It made the score 1-0, Kennesaw. For the game, he went 1-4.
"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" Kennesaw manager Mike Preston said.
