Yucca Valley Yellows starter Ed Taylor pitched a strong game against the Grim Reapers at The Coffin, leading the Yellows to victory, 3-0. Joe Anthony closed the door for Yucca Valley, picking up his 5th save of the year. The current losing streak for Grim has reached 4 games.

Yucca Valley used a well-timed hit by Sloan Anderson to capture the win. The catcher socked a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Yellows ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Taylor told a Yucca Valley News reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."
