Getting an impressive start from Daron Gallagher, Kennesaw beat Idaho Falls by the score of 3-2. Gallagher, now 3-0, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 7, walking 0, and allowing 2 runs. Ryan Burton finished the game for Kennesaw and earned his 1st save.
In the bottom of the sixth, Kennesaw second baseman John Miller put his team on top. With two out and runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit his 5th double of the year. Idaho Falls pitcher Jaime Delegorsa served it up. Just like that, the Jets were ahead, 3-2.
"Nothing fazes Daron," said Kennesaw manager Mike Preston.
The win lifted the Kennesaw record to 11-10.
