Billy Goats Beat Visiting Kingfishers, 6-2

The Colorado Billy Goats topped the Pittsburgh Kingfishers, 6-2, in United States Premier League action at Grazing Hills. The game was highlighted by the performance of Colorado designated hitter Alanzo Gaufi. Gregory Collins, the winning pitcher, improved to 6-7. He pitched 7.1 innings, giving up 7 hits and 2 runs, while striking out 5 and walking 0. Colorado bumps their record to 46-60 with the win.
Jorge Costa drove in one run for Colorado. The 21-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Renault Daddi. It was his 12th RBI of the season.
Gaufi called the triumph "a good team win."
