|
Niagara Falls Expos starter Martin Allen pitched a strong game against the Pontiac Godfathers at Waterfall Park, leading the Expos to victory, 6-4. Tan Reijssen finished the game for Niagara Falls and earned his 1st save. The win makes Niagara Falls 19-28.
Niagara Falls took a 6-4 lead on Rob Hill's 2nd double of the season. The 2-run double, which Hill hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Pontiac pitcher Vicente Arroyo shaking his head.
"It was a solid team effort," Allen said. "That's usually what it takes to win."
