The San Mateo Dirty Reds topped the New Orleans Voodoo, 9-7, with second baseman Shi-ping Le playing a big role. Le was 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Dirty Reds in the win. San Mateo is 6th in the Premier League with a record of 46-53.

San Mateo used the clutch hitting of Matsusuke Saikawa to capture the win. The first baseman drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Dirty Reds ahead, 9-7. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"We'll hit the hot tub in good spirits tonight," said Le.
