Right-hander Gilberto Elías mesmerized the Richland Rails while leading the Pine Island Dolphins to a 6-0 victory. Elías got the win, improving to 7-5. He allowed 2 hits and walked 4 over 6 innings. Elías allowed no runs. Micheal Ford collected his 2nd save.

Pine Island relied on the hitting of Roelof Bouwman to pick up the win. The catcher clubbed a 2-run single in the top of the first inning to put the Dolphins on top, 2-0. For the game, Bouwman had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," Elías said.

The third-place Dolphins are now 56-44, the Rails 45-55.
