The Lake Minnetonka Love Boats picked up a win at Heron Field, knocking off the Richland Rails, 3-2. Starting pitcher Uljas Linkomies played a key role in the triumph. Lake Minnetonka has a record of 55-38, placing them second in the Silver AA.

In the bottom of the seventh, Lake Minnetonka second baseman Jim Mitchell gave his team the lead. With no one out and a runner on 1st, Creole hit his 1st home run of the year. Richland pitcher Frank Smith surrendered it. With that, the Love Boats jumped in front, 3-2.

"Every loss stings," said Richland manager Tony Newell. "This one is no exception."
