Blues Field was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Barton Springs Blues and Lake Minnetonka Love Boats.

The Barton Springs Blues beat the Lake Minnetonka Love Boats, 8-7, in part because of third baseman Esteban Hernández. He went 2-2 with 2 singles and a walk, while adding 3 RBI. With the win, the Blues have a record of 36-49.

Barton Springs took a 5-3 lead on Raúl Hernández's 23rd double of the season. The 2-run double, which Hernández hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Lake Minnetonka pitcher Josh Reason shaking his head.

Blues manager Joe Kehoe wasn't all too pleased, despite the win, telling reporters that the performance highlighted some clear areas for improvement moving forward. He refused to be more specific, however. "I'm not gonna publicize our weaknesses," he said. "That stuff stays in the clubhouse."
