Blues Take Nail-Biter Over Cangrejos Fantasmas
Barton Springs Blues starter Curt Stokes pitched a strong game against the Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas at Blues Field, leading the Blues to victory, 4-3. Barton Springs reliever Duane Coleman was the winner. His record is now 6-2. The losing pitcher was Oliver Quested. After today's action, Barton Springs sits at 34-45; Chesapeake slips to 34-45.

The Blues procured the win, in large part because of right fielder Wilton Meadows. In the bottom of the 11th, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.

"I was a little disappointed," said Chesapeake manager Dave Everett. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
