The Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas topped the St. Petersburg Thunder, 8-1, in USSL Double A action at Ghost Crab Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Chesapeake pitcher Josh Reynolds. Reynolds got the win, improving to 7-3. He allowed 4 hits and walked 2 over 6 innings. Reynolds allowed 1 run. Chesapeake, at 32-43, holds down 9th place in the Silver AA.

With Chesapeake leading 1-0 in the bottom of the third, Vladmiri Dakhno hit a run-scoring single off St. Petersburg pitcher Nicolas Cernin. It put the Cangrejos Fantasmas ahead 2-0.

"We'll keep our chins up and get ready for the next game," said losing manager Emílio Sáenz.
