Lake Minnetonka Love Boats starter Dong-hoon An turned in a top-notch performance against the Barton Springs Blues at Heron Field. The result was a win for the Love Boats, 6-2. In 8 innings, An surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 2. He allowed 2 runs.
The Love Boats got an important contribution from first baseman Cai-fei Sung, who in the bottom of the first hit a 2-0 sinker into left for a bases-clearing double. It was his 9th double of the season and put the Love Boats ahead, 4-0.
"It's easier to pitch when you get run support," said An.
