Blues Lose By a Run at Chesapeake, 10-9
Getting offensive support from Chae-ho Nan, the Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas topped the Barton Springs Blues, 10-9. Nan was 2-4 with a home run, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for the Cangrejos Fantasmas. Kyle Williams, now 1-4, was credited with the win. He allowed no runs on 5 hits, while striking out 3 and walking 0. Eduardo Rivera got the save, the 5th for him this season.

The Blues had been locked in a 7-7 tie with the Cangrejos Fantasmas going into the bottom of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 24-year old catcher Harry Brindle came to the plate. Brindle hit a 2-run double on a 2-2 forkball from Barton Springs hurler Jorge Castro. It was Brindle's 1st double of the year.

"I like the grit of this ballclub," Nan said.

The Cangrejos Fantasmas move to 23-32 with the win, while the Blues drop to 25-30.
