The Asheville Highlanders picked up a win at Baby Thunder Dome, taking down the St. Petersburg Thunder, 1-0. Starting pitcher Kelvin van Enk was a big reason why. The win hiked the Asheville record to 28-16.
van Enk lasted 8 innings, allowing no runs on 3 hits. The Asheville right-hander, who is tied for 4th in the SAA with a 4 wins, is now 4-1.
"Winning the game is always the first objective," van Enk said.
