Dolphins Sink Rails, 4-2

Pine Island and Richland duked it out and the Dolphins came out victorious.
Richland got a decent performance from pitcher Chang-ho Kim, but it wasn't enough to beat the Pine Island Dolphins. Pine Island won the Rails Ballpark contest, 4-2. Kim threw 7.1 innings of 4-hit ball for the losing team. Micheal Ford snagged the win in relief. In 3 innings, the right-hander allowed 2 runs on 5 hits. He's now 2-0 on the season. Joe Horne recorded the save for Pine Island, his 2nd of the season.
Phil Hernández chipped in for Pine Island with a solo home run in the top of the eighth. For the game, the second baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 1 run batted in.
"If I do my job, we've usually got a good chance to win the game," said Hernández.
The Rails, now 19-19, have lost 4 in a row.
