The Richland Rails got a good effort from starter Kaimalie Heathershaw in defeating the Barton Springs Blues at Rails Ballpark. The final score was 4-1. Juan Trujillo closed it out for his 3rd save. The Rails go to 16-15, putting them 4th in the Silver AA.
Richland took the lead in the bottom of the sixth. With no one out and the bases loaded, Jesse Hood stroked a run-scoring single to make it 2-1, Rails.
Heathershaw called the win the result of "everyone working in tandem."
