Love Boats Get 6th Straight Win with Late Rally
The Lake Minnetonka Love Boats downed the Barton Springs Blues, 5-3. The hitting star was first baseman José Téllez. Téllez was 2 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Love Boats. Chet Thomas earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the top of the eighth, with the game tied, Kyle Harris was at the plate when Lake Minnetonka scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Love Boats to go in front, 4-3.

"We were the better team today. Maybe that won't be the case next game, but we'll enjoy it for now," Harris told the Lake Minnetonka Times.
