The Yakima Hops racked up a win at Hops Park, bumping off the Barton Springs Blues, 4-1. Sanya Matlah, who started for Yakima, pitched effectively for his team. The Hops, at 10-11, sit in 6th place in the Silver AA.

The Hops took the lead in the bottom of the fourth when Luca Norona banged a two-out double. Yakima had been trailing 1-0, but Norona hit a 1-2 curveball from Julius Angrenny for a 2-run double.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Matlah told the Yakima Daily.
