Heron Field was the site of a competitive game between the Richland Rails and Lake Minnetonka Love Boats.

Lake Minnetonka Love Boats starter Li-zhi Lai turned in a top-notch performance against the Richland Rails at Heron Field. The result was a win for the Love Boats, 2-1. Waleliano Girawheen earned the save, his 5th.

Lake Minnetonka took a 2-1 lead on Calum MacKinlay's 3rd double of the season. The run-scoring double, which MacKinlay hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Richland pitcher Eldon Williams shaking his head.

"I got in a good groove," said Lai. "I was getting some swings and misses."

Richland now is 10-9.
