A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Yakima Hops and Bethesda Atoms.

Bethesda had no answer for Yakima Hops hurler Sanya Matlah, who overwhelmed Atoms hitters as the Hops coasted to victory, 8-0. Bethesda is now 2-5.

In his 105-pitch effort, Matlah allowed no runs on 4 hits over 7 innings. He walked 2 and struck out 11.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Matlah.
