Behind an impressive start by John Noble, Lancaster beat Northville, 3-1. John Noble picked up the win in relief for Lancaster, while Tim Chuter took the loss. Raúl Gómez closed the game out for Lancaster, earning his 9th save.
In the bottom of the fourth, Brock Allen delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and runners on 1st and 3rd, the Lancaster center fielder hit a run-scoring single, putting the Farmers in front, 3-1.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Noble told the Lancaster Herald.
Lancaster is 48-26 and Northville, with the loss, 37-37.
