Field of Plenty was the site of a competitive game between the Minnesota Loons and Providence Pilgrims.
The Providence Pilgrims picked up a win at Field of Plenty, courtesy of Mark Hogan. The right-hander helped his team stop the Minnesota Loons, 2-1. Rodger Asmus closed the game out for Providence, earning his 24th save.
Hogan dominated for Providence, raising his record to 7-3. Minnesota hitters had few good at-bats against the right-hander, who scattered 4 hits over 8 innings while striking out 7.
