Eclipse Top Ottawa, 2-1
|
Northville Eclipse starter Juan Ramírez was in fine form against the Ottawa Nationals at Old-Timers Park, leading his team to a win, 2-1. Northville, now 35-32, holds down 4th place in the Menard's AA.
Ron Whelan was the walk-off hero for Northville. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Eclipse center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
Whelan described the clubhouse as "kind of rowdy" after the game.
