Toledo Gets 5-3 Win
|
The Toledo Saboteurs bested the Ottawa Nationals by a score of 5-3, with right fielder Christian Harris getting the main credit. On the day, Harris was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles for the Saboteurs. With the win over Ottawa, the Saboteurs improved to 31-34.
Toledo used a well-timed hit by Barnes Libbinga to capture the win. The first baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Saboteurs ahead, 3-2. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
"We'll savor this win," Harris told the Toledo Daily, "then get ready for the next game."
